Research Focus/Background: My research focuses on understanding the cognitive and social effects of digital technologies, specifically in the context of the Global South. My aim is to advance research on culturally diverse populations that remain underrepresented in social and behavioral sciences.
Problem/goals to address as part of CERES: I hope to contribute to the theme of New and Widening Digital Divides and design gender-responsive interventions to foster equitable digital opportunities in the Global South. Specifically, I plan to cross-culturally examine the impact of digital inclusion, gender norms and digital empowerment in diverse contexts.
Location of Research Projects: Global South (South Asia, Africa, South-East Asia)
