Research Focus/Background: 

I am a developmental psychologist. I research children’s and adolescents’ experiences helping and caregiving for family – and how these experiences relate to their school success. Armstrong-carter.com. 

Problem/goals to address as part of CERES: 

  • Form close professional relationships with other scholars focused on youth development in online contexts
  • Contribute to empirical understanding of positive youth development in online contexts
  • Exchange writing feedback for academic endeavors (e.g., grant writing, faculty job applications

When Not Working: 

  • Hiking and yoga
  • Spending time with friends outside
