Research Focus/Background:

Queer health technologies — how can design and technology support (or not support) LGBTQIA2S+ people with their health needs? My dissertation is centered around designing online sex education resources with and for transgender and gender-expansive youth.

Problem/goals to address as part of CERES:

How can we account for and/or challenge varying levels of the Collins’ matrix of domination (the individual, communal, and structural) that contribute to health inequities through design? How can we as researchers change our practices so that we are contributing towards a more justice-oriented world?
